If you would like to contribute, the first thing you can do is file any issues you encounter. If you want to take it a step further, go ahead and create a PR for an issue. You can use an AI assisted workflow if you want. Take a look at openclaw/CONTRIBUTING.md at main · openclaw/openclaw for the instructions. If you’re looking for an issue to tackle, you can visit: Contributor / Maintainer Start Here · Issue #84599 · openclaw/openclaw. Hop into our Discord if the PR is ready and post a short message in the clawtributors channel

Welcome to the forum @JollyOtter90! I started clawtributing not to the core at first, but to one of the other OpenClaw Foundation projects - ClickClack. Being intimidated by the process is normal, but everyone in the community was more than warm and welcoming and were genuinely excited to help get the first few PRs over the line. My best advice is to reach out to your fellow clawtributors if you’re stuck, since many of us have had the same or similar issues!
Thanks! It’s all still a bit intimidating looking at the scale of the openclaw github operation, but I’ll give it a try!
