My Windows Gateway will not start. It says the custom bind address resolves to 0.0.0.0 and refuses to fall back. The configured private address belonged to this machine before its local IP changed.
OpenClaw is refusing an unsafe fallback because the configured custom address is no longer assigned to Windows. Check the current interface addresses and the authored bind settings:
openclaw gateway status --deep
openclaw config get gateway.bind
openclaw config get gateway.customBindHost
Get-NetIPAddress -AddressFamily IPv4 |
Select-Object IPAddress,InterfaceAlias,AddressState
If the old address is absent, set gateway.customBindHost to the current local address and restart the Gateway. If you do not need one pinned address, use LAN binding only after confirming Gateway authentication is enabled.
Once the new address is accepted, treat any later migration or plugin error as a separate blocker. Run openclaw doctor --fix, then verify with openclaw gateway status --deep. Do not keep changing the bind when the status already shows the intended address.
